Hyundai Ioniq Maintenance Schedule

Have you recently financed a Hyundai Ioniq model and want to protect your investment for the long run? Cartersville drivers should follow this Hyundai Ioniq maintenance schedule courtesy of Riverside Hyundai! These are recommendations for the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Blue trim with a 1.6L four-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive, an automatic transmission, and about 12,000 miles already on the odometer. It assumes that you would drive 1,000 miles each month under normal road conditions

Complete the following every 7,500 miles on your Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid:

  • Inspect air filter
  • Inspect battery
  • Inspect disk brakes and pads
  • Inspect driveshafts and boots
  • Inspect engine clutch actuator fluid, hose, and lines
  • Inspect HSG belt
  • Inspect vacuum hose
  • Inspect brake lines, hoses, and connections
  • Replace climate control air filter
  • Replace engine oil and filter
  • Rotate tires

At the 15,000-mile interval, have the following maintenance completed on your Hyundai Ioniq:

  • Inspect brake fluid
  • Inspect pipe and muffler
  • Inspect fuel filter
  • Inspect fuel tank air filter
  • Inspect parking brake

The 22,500-mile mark on your Hyundai Ioniq means the following is necessary:

  • Replace air cleaner filter
  • Replace engine clutch actuator fluid

At 30,000 miles, your Hyundai Ioniq needs the following work:

  • Inspect fuel lines, hoses, and connections
  • Inspect vapor hose

When you hit 37,500 miles, make sure to:

  • Inspect dual clutch transmission fluid

With the Hyundai Ioniq Electric model, your maintenance schedule requires slightly different tasks. Tires should still be rotated every 7,500 miles, for example, but oil changes are unnecessary, for example. Every 15,000 miles, make sure to do the following:

  • Inspect 12V battery condition
  • Inspect air conditioning system
  • Inspect brake fluid and pedal
  • Inspect disc brakes and pads
  • Inspect cooling system
  • Inspect driveshafts and boots
  • Inspect steering gear rack, linkage, and boots
  • Inspect brake lines, hoses, and connections
  • Replace climate control air filter
